I don't know, but I expect values in the mid 70's deg F are fine. How low do you want to go?

It really all depends on what you want to have in the tank. I think 68/69 is probably as low as most of the tropical coral would want to go... but there's temperate species that'd die if the water was kept that warm.

if your talking degrees C, then shoot for 24-26.

i have two rinoplias and two lion fish along with a sea gobblin in a tank thay is at 68 and have seen no problems at all .all my others are at approx 76/78

27-28 C is more like a canonical tropical reef temperatures, but the temperature does vary. I targeted about 28 C.

One of our LFS runs all his tanks at 74 degrees all year long, Say's It keeps disease at bay by running In the cooler range. Plus he keeps Salinity In the lower range, Seems OK for Fish but Corals I'm not sure I agree.
