Walking dendro

Just thought I would give a heads up, not sure if they are always available or not but I rarely see them for sale and found a few online yesterday (haven't really been looking for one but always thought they were cool)

Saw them on live Aquaria in dd section under lps, I got one coming in this week

I noticed while I was at RAP Orlando that a few vendors had quiet a few of them. I always thought there were restrictions on collecting them but maybe that's not the case anymore?

I sure hope there's no restrictions haha. I've heard this about rhizos specifically but not the dendros, but I could definitely be wrong. I feel pretty safe about the purchase though since it's thru such a large company that would hopefully be on top of this

From what I've read it seems like they do move around quite a bit in the tank

Pretty cool. I never heard of them before. Some quick research says the worm living in the shell they grow on is what moves them around.

Mine moved all over the place so I trapped it into a corner so that I could feed it. LOL

When yours moved around your tank did it knock over corals you had in your sanded?

Yeah... It definitely bumped small zoa frags that were mounted on flat discs... Plugs weren't much of a problem though.
