Exactly. BK is coming out with a very similar skimmer with a Red Dragon pump, though. It's on sale for $650

I did the free shipping, so it will be a week before my skimmer arrives. hopefully someone will get theirs before then!

I am still debating between 150 and 130. May get 130 since 150 is out of stock now.

Vertex 150

I just ordered the Vertex 150 from BRS this week-end too. I'm going to be running it on my 90 gallon. I'm still trying to get everything set-up but when i saw this steal(oops i meant deal) on BRS, I just couldn't pass it up. I got a pretty pricey skimmer for a great price. Also I like the fact that it has a valve to help you control the air, figure that will help me dial it in even more once everything is set up. I will post again when it arrives.

Me too. The holiday is adding a few extra days as well. Mine shipped on Friday but won't be here until next Monday darn it. Oh well, the low low price and free shipping makes it worth the wait.

I just checked it with my caliper and it says exactly 80mm OD and the acrylic is 4mm thick.

I have been debating this skimmer to replace my Cadlights TIA1150 and when I got the email last Friday saying they were in stock I ordered it instantly. Should be here first part of next week and I'm pretty excited. My tank is a 60 gallon cube with 15 gallons in the sump.

Thanks! It seems to be the same with the BK 150.

Try to rotate the pics before you save and upload them. I am viewing these on a shared work computer and did not want to save it to rotate it so I literally just picked up and rotated the monitor itself lol.

My 150 will be here Monday

Photoshop has been flipping pictures like that (and upside-down) for a few months now. Very frustrating.

My 130 is supposed to arrive on Monday, but the tracking information says it's about 10 miles from my house at one of their distribution facilities.
