Cross braces or no?
Having a custom tank done - I wanted 84x30(deep)x30(high) - but builder says anything over 25 high has to have cross bracing. This would have two. And to top it off, that extra viewing space of 4” and 54 gallons would be 1k more...
So I can do 84x30x30 with two. Cross braces, stainless steel trim for an extra 1k Or 84x30x25 Eurobrace no cross braces. I’m leaning heavily to no cross braces as I remember them being a HUGH PITA on my little old 75 but am I making to big a deal about it on something this size?

My 30 inch tall tank is a pain to reach the bottom. I'll never go that deep again. 24-25 inches is perfect I think. Get what you want-no cross braces!

What type of lighting do you plan to use? I ran MH on my previous 210 w/cross braces and they split from the heat.
