Weld-on PVC Cement/Primer
Hi All
I was just wondering if Weld-on PVC Cement is Reef Safe. Is says on the bottle only to be used with PVC. But its clear, I have never seen anybody use clear PVC Cement. Everybody has the grey stuff. I just wanted to ensure its reef safe before using it. Also, the Weld-On PVC Primer I got can be used on PVC and CPVC. My assumption is that its not reef safe. Please refer to the pics, the left is the Primer and Center is the PVC Cement. On the right is Oater PVC Cement that is grey and I believe thats reef safe to use. Any input would be appreciated. It depends on the size of the PVC among other factors. Here is a curing time chart http://www.ipscorp.com/pdf/weldon/WeldOn_timetable.pdf
