Dual A80 + Dual T5 for 45G?

45G 36 x 12 x 24 (tall) Tank

Got a Current USA Orbit Marine IC PRO (dual 36") light but considering returning it unopened...

Now considering dual Kessil A80 and a dual bulb 36" HO for the shimmer/fill combo.

Do you guys think it would be better performing/looking combo for 70% LPS / 30% SPS?

I don’t think so. The least I’d do for SPS is either a Kessil 160 or AI Prime HD. From what I’m reading from experiences, the A80 is sufficient enough for softies and some LPS in a smaller tank. Unless you’re running a minimum of 4 Bulbs of T5 with that setup, I would advice against it for SPS especially.
