I run 3x 250w MH with 10k Reefluxk bulbs and some VHO actinics for supplementation.

Nothing special that I add. I have a calcium reactor, topoff with kalk, feed the fish and do water changes every month.

Wow that is amazing growth. I see your Powerheads are pointing towards your zoanthids do they get a lot of flow??? I know my Glove polyps grow super quick in high flow.

For flow, I have a Tunze wavebox, VorTech and 3 modded MJ 1200's so there's quite a bit of flow. The zoos seem to enjoy it.

it looks like you have very little sand in your tank.. maybe thats a factor in their growth

I don't have sand at all nor do I target feed. You don't need to target feed zoas. They have free reign to spread on the starboard so I think that helps growth since there's no hindrance from sand.

Just place them where you want and let them do their thing.

They like a more nutrient rich system. I say this because my bioload, as well as my nitrates and phosphates, used to be really high and they would grow like crazy. Now, with minimal bioload and no signs of nitrates or phosphates, they've slowed down considerably.

This IS and SPS tank after all. Gotta keep the water clean.

Wow thats insane I didn't know zoas or polyps could grow like that. I always thought you needed a rock for them to expand.
