Ching, I have always intended to say something about how much I like the finish on those cabinets: can you share what wood was used to make those please.

with the students working on our display reefs and their othere tanks we have issues with damage because the finish simple does not hold up to getting wet. The students are pretty good (by no means perfect) about wiping the wood down afterwords but still the finishes fail pretty quickly

I have never tired a painted wood though

Dave, the wood is waterproof plywood grade A.
