What's next

I started with the aquaforest products. I used the reef salt and used the bio s for the 14 days as directed. I tested levels. No ammonia but my nitrite is high. Didn't bother to check nitrates since I still have nitrite. Do I now start the pro bio s and np pro or do I wait for the tank to completely cycle?

Continue the use of Bio S another week, once you are testing 0 on Nitrites and Ammonia, you can then begin the use of Pro Bio S and NP Pro. Cheers!

Both on would be fine, this will help the tank start to process nutrients(skimmer). The lights will help to start to grow corraline algae. Cheers

But what if nitrite still doesn't go down after a week? Continue using it until it does?

Did you use dry rock to cycle, if so it make take longer to establish life, in which case still continue to cycle and use bio s to do this. Once you see ammonia, nitrite at zero, then you can add some life to the tank. You could begin with some inverts, and take it from there. At this point where you begin to stock the tank, this point is where you switch to Pro Bio S and NP Pro.

Recommended dosage of pro bio s and np pro is also 1 drop per 27 gallons. Should I start with the recommended dosage or half?

1/2 dose with observation is key, as you gain comfort, you can increase your dosing.
