Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Just been really busy with work and personal stuff going on.

After going through many frustrations with the tank, I've realized just how important it is to be patient with this hobby no matter what your experience level is. I've had the tank setup for about 16 months now and only now seeing the tank stabilize after many trial and error. I've always just kept LPS and softies in the past, so venturing into SPS is a whole new animal as I've come to learn. After suffering from stuff doing well for a couple of months and then suddenly RTNing was truly frustrating. with finally getting a dosing pump setup and the proper dosing amounts finally dialed in and sticking to a strict maintenance schedule I've finally gotten to a point where my parameters are finally stabilizing and getting a phosphate problem I've been battling with under control. It's really important to test test test, you'll be surprised how much things can change after a few months of getting lax in your maintenance routine.

I'll try to get some photos of the tank up soon.

What was the source of the phosphate? Water? Feeding?

Tank looks good btw - don't see any algae - assuming you had an out break with the phosphate issue.

Over feeding and detritus buildup in the sump/overflow chamber.
