Ditto on the pic request.

Where've you been and what happened (or are you not at liberty to discuss)?

As you wish:
Glaring proof (if you zoom in) of the existance of redbugs in my tank

Picture of a group of corals - notice the tail end of a foxface (RIP - died yesterday ) He's picking at some envasive gracillaria that lives in the core of a birdsnest coral. Not sure what's going to keep it under control with the foxface gone.

Some zoos:

Over all, things look pretty good considering the issues you've had with your tank.

I wish I had that growth James! I want that purple pillow type coral in your first picture. The same coral Kip submitted for photo of the month. minus the redbugs of course.

not without an hour of cleaning the glass. I just got back from that trip and it's a mess... Those shots are from a couple weeks ago.

thanks for the compliment Lunch. It's got issues still and I'm sure it will contine to have issues...

Part of the fun of reefkeeping is having meltdowns, cracked tanks, ph spikes, redbugs, flatworms and huge menacing hitchiker crabs that you've only ever seen 1 claw of...

James I was wondering what type of calcium reactor you are using. Are you using a kalk reactor as well? I am trying to add one of those or both. TIA

yeah - I'm using an octopus dual 6" chamber reactor with a milwaulkee ph controller. On the kalk, it's an open topped container still. I'll be switching that out for a DIY reactor pretty soon. I just need to get around to making it.

Well - the system was broken down and moved to my new place. Some pretty major incidental fragging went on - and I've still got some issues to work through on the system. IE: no reactor, lousy skimmer set up. Not enough light/flow/etc...

Should have the tank looking semi-decent in a week or so.
