anyone here adding N to topoff water?
Automated topoff for evap over here with Spectrapure Litermeter.
ULNS SPS system. Right now I'm manually dosing N but why couldn't this be done via automated topoff water? Does RO water render liquid N inert? Maybe I should post this in the chemistry forum!

I dose nitrate by mixing sodium nitrate powder with RO/DI water and then dosing it via a dosing pump. So if you did that with top-off water it would just be a more dilute concentration but it would be the exact same thing.
The only issue with top-off water is that some days you'll dose more and some days you'll dose less, but maybe the differences are small enough that it doesn't matter. |
