UV and AF bio system

Hi, just starting with AF and going down the probiotic route and currently also running a UV, just wondering if this will be counter productive and kill off too much good stuff? I have a good reason to be running the UV at the moment but will switch it off if the general consensus is to do so. Thanks!

UV is not recommended with use in probiotic system, as it is counterproductive to running a bacterial driven system. Cheers
