I just bought a frag of fire and ICE favia and it doesnt seem to be to doing that well. My alk was low but im working on brininging it up all other parameters are ok. I will add a picture later but its near the bottom of the tank. I have dual 250W 14k HQI MH and 4 65 watt actinics.

If you are talking about the Fire and Ice war coral (favites pentagona), it likes medium/lower light. We would need to know how deep your tank is to know whether your lighting may be a bit too strong.

Yep, favites pentagona. Looks like it is getting a little too much light. Give it a little shade and see if it colors up better for you.
