Just got my retrofit swabbie yesterday, but the wiper and the grey blade are too big for my skimmer neck. Even if I cut out part of the wiper, there's still not enough space to fit the unit. Has anyone run into this, and what did you do? I also emailed Avast Marine for advice, in case they have a smaller wiper/blade.

Sent you email a few minutes ago. Sorry about that, I didn't realize the SWC 180 had that small of a neck. I will send you a smaller blade.

I got my Swabbie Tuesday... hooked it up Tuesday night. I can see that I don't have it adjusted quite right... going to have to try again. Not difficult though. I think I'm really going to like this!

Oh... you will. After about 3 months I finally cracked open the collection cup on my Pegleg - not because the inside of the neck was dirty (the Swabbie kept that clean as whistle!), but the OUTSIDE of the neck was nasty.

I should have taken a picture of the caked on muck I scraped off of the back of the Swabbie blade and shaft. Good-googly-moogly! Smelled lovely as well.

The combination of a Swabbie and a Davy Jones Locker has basically taken a weekly chore and turned it into a quarterly task! Can't beat that with a stick.

Usual disclaimer, nothing more than a happy customer.

Mike
