Bulk granular GFO ,GFO pellets, or High capacity GFO, whats the best?

I use BRS granular. I am going to try the pellets next.
Not sure whats best. I change mine weekly. Once you have po4 under control weekly is overkill. When it comes to algae I like overkill. Thought about using the high capacity but since I change it well before it needs it I opted for the cheaper version.

I think I'll thy the granular. I definately don't change it enough. Like every 2 months. I know thats bad but all my corals have been looking real good lately. I guess, dont fix it if it aint broke. On the other hand I dont want a tank crash either.

As for performance in removing phosphates there's really no difference. The biggest difference that you will notice is the amount of dust there is between them granulated will have the most, pelleted 2nd, with HC the least.
HC might remove a litte more than the rest but the increase in price really dosen't make it worth it IMO.
