I also have the value fixture over my coral qt tank ( no corals in yet) and although it's blue I like the look a little better for some reason , only difference in that fixture is it has no optics and has the 2 green diodes which I'm sure don't make a huge difference. I'm def sticking with these I just hope my sps look good under em
I did my own layout with EverGrow. But I'm still curious, what is the ratio of blue and white?

Oh idk it's just the standard layout I'm not home right now but I do know there's 14 whites, 8 uv, 2 red, so I guess that leaves 31 blues? Not positive

I believe it's 7:3 blue/white.

Still can't find a single video that doesn't have that horrible purplish blue look. I really want to like this light but so far I would rather pay double for the Ecotech or just stick with my original plan and go ATI T5s for the 500.

Anyone have any pics/videos?

Everytime I take a picture, they always show up WAY more purple than I'm seeing with my own naked eye. For some reason, pictures just arn't showing true-to-life eye perception.

You need to balance your white levels in the camera (if it can be done) to get rid of that issue with your pictures.

I'm following along, I'm considering 2 Photon 24's for my 125. At least I can see some in person with another local club member
