That's pretty crazy. Not even the tips are colored, say like...umm I forgot the name...I'm drunk right now. The white ones with the purple tips that a lot of clowns like...well clowns like a lot of anemones but these ones they are like crazy about I think...they are hard to take care of too. Clowns are funny.

That's pretty awesome, at first I thought it was just bleached! I've had torch completely bleach white like this for a week or so and then regain color. Cool find!

I'm skeptical here. Anyone able to post a longer duration of captivity shot? Looks like it just simply spit out its zoox to me.

+1 what tweaked said. Tried googling it and only found bleached hammer threads. Id like to hear from someone who has had one stay white like that for quite awhile, and it being healthy

I would suggest it is possibly mistaken identity of Euphyllia cristata, they can be quite transparent and grow in a very similar structure.

I've seen one at a LFS but they said they had just found it under the frag rack, hence the bleach. It looks just like the one in your picture.

These appear to be more clear than white. I could only see the pics on my phone so not the best or biggest.

i've got a small mother colony .. started with 2 heads. now I'm up to 5 .
When I first got the Hammer ( branching ) It looked bleached to me . So I picked it up cheap from a LFS. Its been almost 1 yr now. I have had this piece Down Low , Mid Tank & up High . It never changes color months at a time . You can see a very slight hint of lavender tips. It seem to be a slow grower , But Very Hardy . I had a bad overdose which killed 90% of my Euphyllias , But this survived. I'll Try to get a decent Pick to post .
