Also added a lil extra flow in the tank and changed the configuring up a bit to be more to the viewing aspect. Now running 2 hydor 1400's a 1600 sicce and a 1200 sicce all up high and a hydor 750 low. Deffinitly not an MP but nice.

Well wow...Thanks guys/gals? Very nice to hear. Its a nice change from the bonsai bashing . About time instead of being a critic peeps start just enjoying the tank. Lots more to come.

Gave the sump a professional style remodeling with the help from my friend AnJreef. Turned out amazing. Its going to truely improve the life of this system. Used pvc on stationary pieces and flex for connections. 2 open loops 1 from return line with a ball valve to adjust flow into and out of the tank with the end of the loop entering skimmer chamber through a filter sock.2nd the drain from the tru-vu specimen/fuge/frag/everything tank returns back to skimmer chamber. It is also running pretty much silent and after adding a drilled capped pvc at the base of overflow in sump it should be silent. Liking the new look.

Found the spot for the yellow leather. I think he'll be happy there. They sure help make a mixed reef.

Thanks "Shades of blue" ya love the piece. Had it sitting more of an overhang to the left of the pillar but it fell and anyone that knows putty knows that the first spot it toughs upon attaching is where it sits. Liked it better more to the left but where it is at im sure it will soon become a center piece for the tank.

Got to love seeing this. The top brim on the xmas rock is all new growth and you can see it in green. Was oblivious to the fact this was an sps coral and not just some worms in a rock for quite some time.

any opinions

So I've never seen the actual poritous? rock grow before and I think its a pretty cool thing to see because loved um forever. Obviously I want continued results. I had him in my fuge full light under flow from 1st baffle around 11 in and now prolly 16 below light. Light is a single sunpaq 32w 6700k & 10000k pc fluorescent bulb.
I've had thoughts on moving him to the DT for some time and made the move tonight(was actually when I noticed the growth) have him in light on SB in flow. I run 2x250mh & 4x65w pc actinics.

Im wondering if I should move him up though? It is an sps coral. Any opinions?
