Hi Ryan, I do not have the impellers on the web, however we do have them. I'd also suggest picking up an extra bearing for the motorblock as well, which is pretty inexpensive.

I hear these are something that takes a lot of wear. How can I tell the condition of an impeller on a bk mini?

I have a mini180 gen2. The pump recently died on me and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the warranty is one or two years. My local dealer says 1year while some online sources says 2. Thanks.

Hey Jeremy you seem to be the tech Guy for these Skimmers hehe I've got kinda a stupid question on my BK mini 200 I purchased yesterday. It skimmed for a few hrs then I noticed this very loud humming noise coming from my stand. It obviously is the skimmer cause I unplugged it and it went away. Then plugged it back in then it would be fine for a hour or so then start humming again.. any ideas?? Also in my Skimmer compartment it has like a 9.5" water height. Is this to high? If so what do you reccomend for raising the Skimmer off the floor?

Join the club. Mine did the same thing only it sounded like something grinding. For right now instead of unplugging the skimmer put your finger over the air silencer hole for 3-5seconds and it should clear, but if like mine it will return. I have already went through one new motor block, two pinwheel assemblys and a new air venturi and always the same. I have noticed that my air venturi fits real loose in the body. I think this is the cause but proline had me send it in to PA and have it checked. Won't know until MACNA is over and they get time to test it. Mine would run from 24-36hrs+ and then bam, the noise.

Like I said, I had to send mine back and hopefully they get to run this soon and try to solve the problem. Dose your air venturi fit snug or loose. Mine fits loose. I wonder if there is a defect in the body causing this, something not milled right.

Just wondering what is the 2nd nipple next to the venturing? It almost sounds like the pump wants more air but the venturing hose isn't bigger enough to give the pump the air it needs so it hunmms or groans??

Thats for the red hose if you want to run ozone. Shouldn't have anything to do with the problem. I hook it on mine and nothing changed.

Maybe it needs to be capped off if ozone isn't being used?? I dunno I'm willing to try anything but I'm at work ATM. Tommrow my $1,200 bubbleking goes back to the store for either a refund or a new one.. not gonna be out of a Skimmer just cause these a-holes don't have a quality assurance program that tests them before shipping them.

Ozone tube shouldn't need to be capped off. I ran other BK's and Alpha's without capping them off and never had this issue before.
