6040 or 6055/95

I have been using two 6040 for flow in a 40 breeder sps reef (36"x18"x16") and had the standing wave set so that the entire tank had a back and forth motion to it. I have since upgraded the tank to a standard 65 gallon (36"x18"x24") but can not get a similar flow pattern within the tank. Would upping the pump work better in the larger tank? I was thinking of either the new styles 6055 (love the new attached controllers btw) or the 6095. Would the 6095 be too much?

The 6095's would work better and I might first try the tip in the 6040 manual with removing the flow deflectors on the 6040 so the flow is aimed straight up, this can boost the wave potential.
