Adding a refugium
Hello, I want to add a refugium to my 100gl bowfront reef tank. Should I buy a new sump with refugium Area or should I purchase a cpr hob large refugium? Any info is highly appreciated!!!

To be honest almost all refugiums are too small.
Best item for growing chaeto fast are these circular LED lit cylinders copied after the Pax Bellum item.

The HOB would be a good pod hatchery

@IowaReefer they do make good pod hatcherys.
I've used the large CPR HOB refugium before. It was perfect for a little 30g tank. Wouldn't be anywhere near enough for a 100g tank. I've also used a 20H for a refugium. I drilled a hole in the back and installed an overflow box. Filled it with several inches of sand and a ball of cheato the size of a basketball. Let it overflow into the return section of my sump. |

It would help to know why you want a refugium and what you want to accomplish with it.
