Reactor questions

I've been thinking about making a reactor for my 12g nano cube. Space is limited so I was wondering if I if there are any adverse affects to putting a mixture of both purigen and phosban in it? I am not too worried about seperating them to renew the purigen since I will not be using that much of either.

Also, how much flow will it need? I am assuming you need just enough flow to agitate the media but not blow it around too much.

Thanks
