Too much phyto?

Can dosing too much phyto into your system be harmful? I add about 8-12 ounces a day to my 300g system. Recently I have began to get a hair algae bloom. I wondered if there were any negative effects to adding phyto.

Adding too much phytoplankton is just like adding too much food of any sort. It'll feed algae and other pests, indirectly.
