I had a diatoms bloom. Its under control for the most part. Lost a couple corals, thoughts on how to save this Purple Monti?
I have never fragged a monti cap before. |

It's really hard to tell from the picture. Usually the best course with Monti caps is to get your parameters back in line and just let them grow back over the dead area.

If there's any part of it still alive then it should be fine once in good water. I had one that died down from the size of your hand to a spec the smaller than your fingernail but it grew back and covered all the dead coral.

With White Lights
Here it is with white lights. Not sure how much more it will tell you guys.
Sounds like just leave it and hopefully it comes back. This all resulted in adding some new sand. I didn't add it slow enough. Lesson learned. |
