in-wall see through tank lighting compartment finish

Hey, I can imagine that not a lot of people set their tank like that, but I'd like to see how people finished the "in-wall" part of this kind of set up with the lighting. Do you have any condensation issue, etc? what material have you finished with?

The way you worded the question is confusing. But most in wall builds have a room behind it. So lights can be hung however behind the wall. Not really much different from how lights are done with tanks just in the room. At least from what I’ve seen.

I’m not sure if this is similar to what you are doing, but I have an in-wall 180 between my living room and office, so that you can see through from either side. The wall is 24” wide floor to ceiling, so it is essentially a compartment above and below the tank. My biggest regret is not protecting the wood directly above the tank better. It has absorbed moisture and looks pretty nasty. If I was to do it all over again, I would probably fiberglass the wood 6”-12” above the tank. I plan to make some fiberglass panels this winter and cover the nasty stuff.

CLM65, exactly what I meant!
I am sorry if i may have been confusing, english is my second language.
The point for my question is that my setup is built like this, and even though I used moisture resistant gypse panel covered with 3 coat of bathroom paint, I seem to be having some kind of "swelling" of paint or gypse paper. I am trying to find a fix. I was thinking of covering it with polyethylene sheets.

Moisture is a problem in that confined space.
Exhausting it would be 1 solution, but the problems you have now need to be addressed.
