Is super glue the same as super glue gel?

I just bought some loctite super glue extra time control from walmart. It says it contains cyanoacrylate.

I need to glue some water dividers to a chamber piece for a media basket.

Is superglue and superglue gel the same or do I need to hit Lowes?

I will eventually use for frags on day as well.

cyanoacrylate is the technical term for super glue. You can use what you have.

Yes its the same thing, the gel is just easier to use for gluing things underwater which is why most people recommend it.

Super Glue Gel, imo, is much better because it isn't runny. It forms a glob that will pretty much stay put unless you want to spread it around. Regular super glue is liquid and will be runny.

You can get the stuff from the Dollar Store for, get this, one dollar! lol

The gel is not safer than what you have, just easier to work with for your application.

+1. Cyanoacrylate is superglue. Same ingredients as any other superglue, which is why I responded how I did previously.
