Parvirostris Anthias

I have just added 1 male and 2 females of the above. I will be feeding 4 times a day to begin with. Once fat resources have been replenished can I limit the feedings to 1 or 2 a day or should I continue with multiple feedings.
Please offer any other advice comments about these fish. Thanks

Mine are extremely shy! The three females hang out in the back where they are not seen easily. They will sometimes come to the front for feeding but thats it. The male isn't as shy but won't venture out into the open long.

Getting them feeding presented no issue's. They started on cyclops and by the time they left QT they would eat anyting frozen. Since being in the tank a few month's now they still eat whatever I feed. They prefer the smaller stuff though.

I have no idea if they would get by on limited feedings long term. I feed often and have not left them in someone else's care for any extended period of time.

A very beautiful species when you see them!

Would you say that all Anthias benefit from multiple feedings or do some species require more feeds than others.

My personal opinion is feed often. In the wild they eat all day long. What they can consume in a minute or so atleast 5x's a day has been working for me.

The biggest issue with alot of feeding is water quality. I change alot of water often and skim heavy so don't have that worry.
