No puffer is reef safe. Neither are shrimp or snails.

TY
and why add in the snails or crabs part?
Anyone have experience with a puffer like this? Did you mean snails or crabs are not safe from the puffer?

The puffer will eat them. Puffers need food that will grind down their teeth. The teeth of puffers continue to grow and need food to keep them down. Krill or dried shrimp will help but they love snails.

Go to Live Aquaria and read about what the fish eat that you want to get. There are also cautions on what not to have in your tank because the fish will eat them.

What about corals , lps and sps, I don’t care about shrimp or snail. Will puffer fish eat coral?
