Female Banggai laying eggs without a male
Hi,
I just noticed a big clump of eggs in the tank today that are unmistakably Banggai eggs (I have bred Banggai before). I was surprised that my female laid eggs without a male present - is it normal? I lost the male next day after purchasing from LFS, this female has been with me for about six months. Last couple days it looked like she was doing a mating dance with the yellow tang - and today I saw the results . BTW, if somebody has a male Banggai for sale or trade in Houston area, I am interested. |

I had a big bundle of bangaii eggs from my solo female. Someone had a nice snack when they found them.
