Tunze 6155, 6105

Hi Roger,

My name is Khanh, from Vietnam. Last year, I bought a Tunze 6155 from taobao.com (China). But after few days it did not work any more (look very new).

I am also having 2 pieces of 6105 (bought 2 years ago). And I tried to connect the 6155 with 6105 adaptor but it did not work.

Yesterday, I cleaned 2 of 6105 but after that one of them did not work too

Please help
Thanks
Khanh

Khanh,

If less than 2 years old they should be under warranty, I would start by making sure the propeller spins freely on the shaft and is not stuck. I would also check that the power supplies work, they should have a light on and if possible check the output with a voltmeter.

Dear Roger,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I re-cleaned and re-checked the 6105 very carefully but it did not work. Unfortunately, I bought it over 2 years

The 6155 (bought last year) is very new (nothing to clean), just worked few days then stopped. I also checked the propeller spin and power (please see pictures) but no change

Please help

Thanks so much
Khanh

Is their any chance the black box on the end of the cord opened so the socket is pushed in and not making contact with the power supply?

I am sorry, figuring this out would require the pump come in, I do assume the motor is dead but why I do not know. It has a two year warranty, I would probably suggest contacting Tunze in Germany as the nearest service center. I don't believe we have a distributor in Vietnam and officially only a few products are sold in China (6020, 6040, and 3162 filter I believe), this is due to regulations and requirements of Chinese language manuals. Most are imported from Taiwan or Hong Kong so it is difficult to find the origin and warranty information. Tunze Germany email is info at tunze dot com.

Hi Roger

Matthias accept to exchange me the new one. What a good service. It's my right choice, most of my things are Tunze: 9430, 6105, 6155, 7095

Thank you very much Roger
