Exclamation GHL Direct closure coming soon

As some of you may have heard with great sadness Progessive Reef will be closing their doors, and in turn so will GHL Direct. However we have stolen Gareth as our product specialist so you will still have access to him on www.profiluxsupport.com

GHL Direct URL will eventually be pointed to the new North American product catalogue at ww.ghlna.com.

So where to buy?

Well with great excitement we now have a number of STOCK HOLDING online stores in the USA for the first time in a long time since the economy downturn hit, and we are also slowly rolling out GHL experience centers in a select amount of local fish stores, the first being The Fish Store in Florida.

To find out where to purchase closest to you please got to www.ghlna.com and click on where to buy, fill in the form and we will reply back with the nearest stock holder to you, this makes sure you are serviced by the nearest location, and importantly sales for our stores have equal access to all sales.

CANADA - The same applies to Canadian clients, nearly all our stores now carry GHL products, so just fill in the form the same way and we will provide you with the nearest stockist to you

You represented the brand well.

Michael it is sad to see you go. Your customer service was exemplary and you made it very comfortable to buy GHL equipment. You are fortunate to have the opportunity to continue to work with Gareth as he is one of the most patient people I know.

I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Thank you for all of your GHL support.

Ok there is some confusion here, you have got it a bit about face

I am not going anywhere, Gareth works for Progressive reef which has nothing to do in regards to ownership with me, neither has GHL Direct, GHL Direct is/was operated by progressive reef an entirely different entity, 3,500 miles away from me

So it is Progressive Reef that is closing taking along with it their website GHL direct. I own operate and run Aqua Digital Inc (GHL NA distribution)

Gareth will be working for ME now (GHL distribution/ Aqua Digital Inc) not the other way round (I am sure he wishes it was the other way round though) I own his butt now LOL. He has been such a great asset to the GHL community I could not exactly let him go that easily

But I appreciate your kind words though, but you are stuck with me for the long haul

Best wishes
Michael

Well this made me chuckle a bit...

Sad to see GHL-Direct/Progressive Reef go, but you guys aren't rid of me yet ;-)

I see you didn't get my PM. My goal was to shower you with compliments just before requesting pics of the new GHL LED fixture.

Bummer for Progeesive Reef I thought that the Canadian market was doing better than the US.

It is, not sure if thats a good thing or not, but as Gareth will testify, Canada is a huge country with a small population and not enough reefers to go round

This is true.

The other thing to consider was a large amount of our business comes from the states. When the Canadian dollar got stronger (even surpassing the US dollar for a while) people stopped ordering Canadian as it wasn't as cheap any more.

So not only did Americans shop less, Canadians started shopping more out of the states as our dollar went further.

Bad timing, but it is what it is. We had a good run while it lasted, but its time to move on to bigger and better things.
