Thanks for the compliments. I've been trying to add some more color here and there when I find something worth adding. Those spaghetti corals need a good trimming because they are crazy.

tank
This was my tank before I fried it this summer. I'm rebuilding it now. No water changes, no dosing. |

90 % Softie
Hey guys-
Great tanks... My tank is about 90% softies with lots of ricordea, zoos and my favortie softies -3 neon green toadstool leathers. Also have a lot of pulsing clove xenia. I like the softies so much I am slowly getting rid of the sps and replacing them with more softies... Here are the pics-- Last edited by jlnielsen13; 01/27/2012 at 11:34 AM. Reason: new pic |

hello,
being French I beg you to be indulgent for my language I use google translation, thank you in advance. I live in France in the region it is produced champagne I introduce my aquarium full soft in France this kind of tank is not very popular, yet it allows a lot of beginner not too bother with the parameters, (I have 0.32 mg of phosphate, but chut must not say ^ ^) the choice of soft corals is restricted, this side was much less colorful species as you, at least that's what I see looking at the pictures of your beautiful tank. my tank is 160x50x60 centimeters or 480 liter Gross. The lighting consists of 2x150W 14000K metal halide. My skimmer is a bubble magus nac6a. mixing is provided for now by two Sunsun 5000L / h below the main tank, I have a shelter xenia, lighted by a ramp blau 4x24W t5 15000K. mixing the shelter is provided by 2 Tunze 6025. my fish population that consists of: 1 Zebrasoma Desjardin 1 paracanthus hepatus 1 Siganus unimaculatus 4 chromis viridis 1 Centropyge bispinosus 1 Centropyge bicolor A Amphiprion clarkii couple 1 labroide dimidiatus in the shelter I: A Amphiprion couple occelaris 1 hexateinia I link my thread of my tank (I do not know if I'm right I really struggled to read the charter ...) Post edited. The video link had something wrong with it that was causing this thread to hang at your post. - Anemone Last edited by Anemone; 02/15/2012 at 08:28 PM. |

One of the most beautiful tanks I've ever seen. I love how you let the few corals fill the space in. Extremely TOTM deserving

My 29 gallon biocube, excuse the algae on the glass... The sand bed is like a deathtrap, no casualties yet!

rodster - damn man that tank has some amazingly mature corals! I bet that Clownfish is very happy with all that real estate.
Here's a couple from my old 20H. LPS and Softie dominant, with just a few SPS pieces.

I just spent hours (or it sure seems like it lol) looking through this forum and impressed with everyone's tank. it seems like everyone's tank grows so fast and mine is growing so slow.
Great Pictures, thanks for sharing |

This isn't 100% soft, and it needs to fill in...but its coming along.
