Trading expensive fish for coral - which store?

Hi. I have a beautiful 5" clown trigger and need him gone asap unfortunately.

As opposed to waiting for someone to buy him, I thought about trading him to a store for store credit or corals. Are there any stores that are more likely to buy or give me a better price/credit?

Thanks.

Darren

I think Aquarium Arts do trade or store credit for fish but not 100% sure give them a call

If I'm not mistaken, Aquatouch gives 30% sale value as credit. Not sure what anyone else's policy is, but I'm also reasonably certain RC gives credit.

AA gives 50% of what they would sell for. Atleast they did when I traded in an undulated trigger.

I traded in my foxface and they gave me 50% of what they sell it for. It worked great because they gave me $30 and I had been trying to sell it on CL for $20 and didn't get any hits.

I think they will give you certain % depending on your fish, the more expensive fish like your clown trigger will probably get 25%-30%. beware that they will tell you one thing on the phone, but when you get there they will make up an excuse to give you less. (you will probably have no choice to trade it in because you dont want to lung it all the way back home). thats what happen to me at a few stores... better off selling it for cheaper to your fellow rc'er and getting cash than getting store credit imo.
