New Clowns

I recently got a pair of Picasso clowns at my lfs. One is a decent amount larger than the other. They had not been kept in the same tank before I got them, yet they are swimming together. There has been no fighting. Does this mean that they're not going to fight going forward?
I'm wanting them to establish as a pair, I don't want fighting, but I was expecting it.
