Looks good but the FTS looks dark? Is that how dark it actually looks in real life?

Congratulation, beautiful tank
"The system has been running for 5 years and I never had a heater in it"

rq786 - thank you! That is correct i've never had any heater in the system at all. What I believe helps maintain the temperature of the system is primarily where the system is located (main floor) & return pump (known to add heat to any system). The current light fixture does also add a bit of heat to the system but not as much as when I was using MH as the primary light source.

Congrats. RC TOTM is like the Oscars of the reefkeeping world. Any other is nice, but it just isnt the same as the Oscars. So well done in creating a system that derserves such recognition.

Absolutely stunning reef Ian, the artistry involved in creating such a beautiful display with the constraints of a peninsula tank just blows me away. TOTM indeed

Hope you don't mind but i tweaked your light levels a bit....

Outstanding tank, congrats!

How to you run your lighting on the frag section of the sump? Is it run opposite the display or the same photoperiods?

Ian Geronimo's (sweet ride) 110 US-gallon reef aquarium.

A piece of art. Beautiful reef tank.
BTW, what kind of camera, macro lens and settings was used to shoot those beautiful pictures ? Again, congratulations.

biggles - thanks for the kind words! true peninsula does have it's own limitation specially if you consider that the display tank is only 18" wide less the glass now my internal dimension in only 17" wide. however I've always looked at it as almost having two different system the left side and the right side the combination of corals and how it grows will never look the same as the other side.....

as per your tweaking, that looks really good thanks! it shows how each coral contrast to each other

josh - the re-tweaked photo on top should show a bit more color! and thanks again!

Gabriel - that is correct the lighting on the frag section of the sump is run opposite to the display light.

ttnguyen98 - thanks for the kind words! All the photos was taken with Canon 6D, as per lens it was a combination of 100mm f/2.8L Macro and 24-105mm f/4L, WB on the camera is set between 8K to 10K, aperture mode between f 4.0 to F 8.0, ISO 400 - 800. hope this helps.
