Titanium Hose Clamps

The manual for the Red Dragon pumps mentions titanium hose clamps (when the pump is submergerged, of coarse). I don't see them on the PA website... do you carry them?

Hi,

We do not stock the titanium hose clamps, however we can special order them in. Are you in need of a replacement?

Royal-Exclusiv is handled directly through the retailer forums on RC now. Klaus does chime in here every now and then, but is not a regular. We do have a direct line of communication however.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I have a RD8.2 that I purchased nearly 2 years ago, but have not put into service yet. It did not come w/ hose clamps (they are mentioned in the pump manual available online, however).

I was initially planning on setting up the pump externally, but now I think I'll just drop it into the sump... thus titanium hose clamps would be beneficial for the discharge.

How much do they run if you have to order them?

TIA

btw... since the sump is not in use yet, I still have time to drill it if there is a good reason to keep the pump external vs. internal. I'm open to thoughts on this from anyone that has used the Red Dragons. This probably isn't the proper place for the discussion, though.

Hi,

There is a titanium supply issue going on with the manuf. right now (not Royal-Exclusiv), and the clamps will most likely be a month or two. We can get them for you though.

Thanks,
Jeremy
