softie dominated tanks ... lets see em
In the process of putting a 120 together, I am definitly not doing an SPS Tank but I still dont know if I want to do a softie dominated tank becuase it kind of lacks color and is pretty bland.
Lets see some pics of your softie dominated tanks and change my mind! |

I have tons of mushrooms and zoa's in my tank, but no leathers. I do have sps also, but I thought you might want to see the mushrooms.

Niiice tank, I was leaning towards a zoo/shroom tank aswell but I think Zoo's altough my favorite coral might not do so well in my setup and instead I want some colorful softies to take it place.

So true! I have about 25-30 zoa color morphs (mostly frags as you can tell from my pic) and 10-15 different mushroom color morphs! There are hundreds of zoa color morphs, the same with mushrooms and rics. More beautiful then SPS imo, but don't let any of those guys in the SPS forum read that .

bradleyj,
Did I read your description right? 65 gallon is your tank size? If so how do you keep all of those fish in that tank? I have 5 now in my 75 gallon and I was thinking that with a CBB and YT that was a bit much. Nice looking tank by the way and I am not the frickin T policia! Thanks, Bill

it something like 1 inch of fish for every gallon of water, throw in a sump and a fuge increase your water volume. ive seen people run water through a 50 gal rubbermaid trashcan just to add more fish

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I do have alot of fish for a 65g. I've had all of them in my tank for over two years now and they have all tripled in size. I do weekly waterchanges and have a nice skimmer and run ozone , all which help tremendously in keeping these fish healthy. I am in the process right now of setting up my new 225 gal and my tangs and rabbitfish can't wait.
