what in the heck is it ?

can someone please look at the attached pic of my baby tmax and tell me what the heck the white tube coming out of the "inhalant valve" is ? im pretty new to this, but something seems amiss here !!!!! ive noticed this only after the mh lights go off....is it a boy clam ?!?!?

It looks like his foot to me. I've heard this happens sometimes but i've never seen it. I'm not sure there is much you can do other than maintain perfect water quality, feed him live phyto and cross your fingers. Good luck.

Yes it looks like the foot indeed. I have had this happen to me in the past, from moving the clam around much to often.
