The larger top one is Pink Pulsing Sinularia.
Not much Xenia but when it does spread you have to keep trimming it after all it is a under water garden

Here's my current tank....it's been on a good streak for the past year. Solid as a rock. Made sure to leave it alone and do minimal upkeep and it rewarded me with excellent growth. Also added an APEX.

Moved to a shallow sand bed, lost most of my LPS and all of my SPS over the year (didn't have much to start with, but what I did have was pimp lol). Got into shrooms more this past year too.

The tank is softie and gorgonian dominant, with a couple blastomussa and acanthastrea ... have lots of rarer softies, lots of neon toads, and ORA softies. My palau nepthea is over 10yrs old by now too. Even a softie I can't ID for the life of me!

Wow Patwa, that looks amazing. Do you ever have any issues with all of those in such close proximity to one another?

I do ....but i've taken steps to move corals around to find the best spot where they don't touch one another. And as soon as in a matter of weeks or months, the coral grows and I have to move it again....i'm always on the lookout.

I've also spent lots of time and used lots of epoxy to move corals onto ledges or otherwise hard to place spots people wouldn't usually consider. I've even used an old Tunze magnet to mount a rock on my back glass pane.

Re: Bonsai......bonsai is another one of my hobbies. I've taken some design considerations from that hobby and applied it to control of the coral growth. If one coral branch touches another, I may consider clipping that branch. Clipping it on one side promotes growth on the other sides. I find this to be the most effect means to achieve the growth and manicured LOOK of the aquarium you see in the picture.

....but yeah, my softies and gorgs are big! lol ...might be time to consider a move to a 200G cube!

Beautiful tanks. I live how these softies can bring some color to your tank. Some might not look as nice without actinics

Due to photobucket issues, my pics from earlier in the thread are gone. Here is the FTS from early 2010 at the best my tank looked. 75g softie reef, 2 long tentacle anemones, at one point it had 23 different varieties of mushrooms. 2 175w 10k metal halides with 2 actinic t5s for supplemental blue.
