Mostly aquatic obsessions in avenel. Best choice of livestock IMO

So did you switch back to the T-5s because the LEDs were not giving you a good spectrum, and the corals suffered, or were the LEDs just not wide enough for your tank? I am thinking of going LED in my 24 nano, probably 24, 3 watt cree, and I wasnt sure if they were not good for SPS/LPS/clam growth. Any thoughts since you have had all three lighting types?

Well the coverage was inadequate for my tanks width and there were spots where some coral werent getting enough light. Overall the spectrum was good and most of my coral looked good but i still wasnt overly impressed. Since the switch my corals have never looked better. T5's have given me the best results by far and have done so within the shortest amount of time.

Thanks for the response, your tank is the most amazing nano I have ever seen with the different corals, fish and inverts. Great job. Also, how often do you clean the glass to keep it looking brand new?

Ok, so what are your dosing schedules, and water change schedules. Sorry if this question is redundant, but I want to know the secret behind amazing colors, and good growth.
