Blue/Purple Growth in Tank - Please help identify

The past couple of days my green hairy mushroom has not been opening. Then today I noticed some blue/purplish growth overtaking it. looked closer and noticed this growth also on parts of my rock (also pictured). Any idea what this may be?

Not ure if it's related, but for the past 2 days my zoanthids have refused to open...

Thanks!

Can't make it out from the pictures but it sounds like you are describing flatworms.
Google flatworm images and flatworms control.

Dipping your corals before placing them in the tank will help with this for future additions. I learned this the hard way.

Hey NORFOLK...I looked up flatworm, and honestly it doesn't look like any of those...those flatworms seem to have other colors as well...this is just a solid blue or purple...and its also on the rock in small patches...I wonder if it's possible that it's coralline algae?

btw, I'm from Norfolk myself...went to Maury High School...how long have you lived there?
