Help identifying LR growths.
I have some trhings growing in my reef tank, and I don't know what they are. i was hoping some of you canb help me - or at least give me some hints. Thx.
And finally, I know this is an emerald crab, but the picture is pretty good, sO i thought I'd include it. Thx for all of hte help |

the first pick appears to be the skeleton of some type of encrusting coral. i have a bunch on my marshall island live rock. the second looks like halimeda marcroalgae, but i am not positive.
nice emerald crab, he looks like mine (they all probably look aline, though).

THx. My LR is Marshall Island, too. I hope hte lavendar stuff is encrusting coral I actually have two or three shades of purple

but, i think it is just the skeleton ... the coral is probably pretty dead.
