rentals
We sold our house in Santa Rosa, and having troubles finding places in Petaluma(prefer eastside as that is where the kids are going to school). Anybody know of good rentals? Most require 6 month leases. Kids are already in petaluma schools, but we're tired of commuting.

Go on craigs list, thats where we and most others post now. Filter the search to Petaluma and check it often, at least daily as the market is tight and they get snapped up really quickly. We have 5 places and have only had 1 empty for 1 month in the past 4 or 5 years and that was because I wanted to paint it inside and out and recarpet. Grant

There is an apartment complex right behind G&G that is pretty nice. My girlfriend and I just moved out of the Waterfront apartments downtown, I'm not sure what you're looking for but they definitely have units available. I wouldn't recommend renting from Basin Street though, they're basically horrible. My agent is awesome, she might be able to help you find something. Look up Jen Birmingham at Coldwell Banker Petaluma.

You could check local rental agencies (property management companies) they usually have a list of available homes.
