Photobucket is having so much issue lately.. trying out google photo.
Got the Rollermat hooked up. Not much to clean so it's off, but the plumbing is done. The intake was reduced to 19mm as recommended for separate pump. Output remained 40mm. Connected with a 30w Jebao DC pump which pumps out the recommended output at 90%. I'm not sure if it works with the output completely submerged under water. It seems fine. 100% quiet. I don't have detritus to test out. I have the sump designed so that the baffle after Rollermat traps all the detritus in that section. Water overflows from the top. easier to maintenance. This will be the most often cleaned spot.

not much going on with the tank... nitrite is still crazy high at 5+.. also waiting on Advanced Acrylic to finish making the rest of my equipment
stocking up more and more corals in the QT. my LC auction results! mostly LPS and zoa got some new Scoly. Bleeding Apple in the corner UFO and Warpaint my favorite new piece. Bleeding Orange organized the shelves and bought a few more racks.. I think I can squeeze in 2 more racks.

everything is doing great. the Scolys are healthy. Legendary Corals did a great job packing/shipping the zoas. Very healthy frags. I also got a large torch pack from TCK. But can't say I am very impressed with the colors. I will give it a month to color up.
did some fragging myself. Also ordered a SPS pack. (WD, OP, etc.) excited to see those! I'm slowly changing salt from Reef Crystal to Fritz RPM. Should see some better stability.

Fritz Pro salt?? I had never heard of this but just checked out their website. I like the ca,alk,mg,salinity levels they advertise. The price is also very nice. Not much more than RC actually. Have you ever used this salt before? How well does it mix? And does it leave any residue? I may have to give it a shot.

Im switching to this salt because it is so clean. It is the cleanest salt according to every single user review i've read.
I mixed about 50gal so far. No need for mixing pump. I used a stick and stirred for a minute and let it sit. Everything is mixed. 0 residue. A friend that's been using it for years still has a clean mixing container. Unlike mine which is browned out from residue. And the measurements are spot on for this salt

When I get setup with new SW mixing container I wonder how 200g of SW will look after a few months with Fritz. Hummm.. I will have to look it up and see about others.

My only complaint is the box eventually becomes empty, and I have to buy another. |

I used these lights in my old peninsula at my old house and had someone cut into the ceiling to put in backings cause I was afraid the drywall would not support the lights being hung so close to each other. Thanks in advance and awesome build and equipment list btw. I will be starting my 330g soon and I'll have a build thread up once the tank is on order. |

thank you!
I would not trust these on drywall alone. I have ceiling access and had a few pieces of 2x4 nailed onto the beams. These 4 holes are drilled into the 2x4s.
