Superman Monti - Growing like a Digitata

I have a superman monti that started to grow vertical - like a digitata. Anyone see that before? Common, uncommon?

Not sure about that. It won’t stop growing and it is directly under my radion. In fact I have to harvest like half of it each week. The pic actually needs to be turned 90 degrees to be right side up.

While not that common plating corals can develop vertical "nodules"/sections in captivity..

To this date I don't believe the "cause" is known.. Too much light/Too little light/Too much flow/Too little flow are always thrown around and are both sides of the coin guesses..

My red Monti grows a lot like that. More vertically than horizonal. Don't think it's a sign of any issues.
