Triton ICP vs. Hanna Phosphorous URL

Who here uses the Hanna ULR Phosphorous test? My Triton ICP tests are registering phosphates almost 0.1ppm lower than the Hanna. On the evening of 3 June I tested with my Hanna at 0.13ppm. At that same moment I sent in a water sample to Triton, and they came back with 0.04ppm. What gives? This is a HUGE discrepancy.

It's worth nothing that I rinse out the Hanna 10ml test tube with tank water before I test to make sure there's no residue time the test with a stop watch and make sure there's nothing on the outside of the Jar. I also make sure I positing the jar the same each time.

Just tossing a guess out there but microbes in the water could have consumed some of the phosphate while in transit. We freeze soil samples when sending them out for testing to prevent such errors

Normal household freezer should do it. Easy enough to find out. Toss some in and see

No I know it will freeze, but will it affect the test negativity. I asked on the Triton board let's see what they say.
