So im dinkin around in the tank and I gotta say its a satisfactory feeling to have this tank at a point where it is looking young reeflike. I was missing my 40g the other day because looking at it was like a dry dive off in the reef. Gettin there. Nice to see growth to the spoils as well

Made a couple sump changes. Its amazing how much time you can spend on a space that small. And I still settled in the end hours into the am. Fuge runs at night.

On DT I run 2x250w 14k mh and 4x65 blue actinc bulbs. Soon changing to retrfitted sunbrights x4 for the actinic PC bulbs. 1 at a time. Other than that its a 2x t-5 glo over tru-vu fuge/frag tank and a 32w 6700k & 10000k daylight pc bulb over fuge/everything tank

I put the paneling on the tank for the 1st time I think since I started it up. I guess that's what happens when during tank crossover you end up using the fuge as storage and set it up as a quick tank for the percs and the fiance likes it It does look pretty flush though. And yes the fiance is sleeping.

I love the side shots of tanks. I will be super stoked when I get my hands on a sweet camera to help with these droid photos. They make the tank look colorless.

Snapped a somewhat okay pic of an unknown acro in the tank next to the jedi mind trick doing very well. I have gotten crazy growth from this coral and very happy with it as it was a saved dying browned out stick only 3 months or so ago. Been fragged twice already aswell. Fast. Let me know if ya have any ideas on type if you recognize it. Thanks.

A lil bit of red planet. Attaching also. A tiny piece fell off while transporting frag. Flat outer layer. So I attached it at base below you can see in photo and its tripled in size. Hardy coral.

Another rescued piece. Green w/blue rimmed monti. It was all starting to look like the center when I saved it and completely bleached out(sadly dying). Been in the tank under a month and looks to be on full recovery. Good green and the blue is starting to show. Go 90

Thanks hobby. I just had a friend shoot up to oregon for the weekend. Would've been irronic if he was going to the same place around where you at..I could've sent you up a piece. It is a sweet looking coral. I just brought back from the dead another frag of it over the last couple weeks. What a crazy story that one had. Took a bunch of rock and had it in a cooler in the garage with only a heater and airstone only. No lights. It somehow ended up buried under it all for a week and when I finally found it was sure it was dead. Put it in the DT and now a few weeks later it looks just as good as the one in the pic.

This is the piece of jedi mind trick being described in the story above...back from the dead. The entire coral looked like the center between the two surviving colonies.
