Toadstool Shedding?

What's going on with my Toadstool, is it going to shed? It's been like this for the past couple of days. All other corals are fine and this is the only one that hasn't been the same. No major swings in the parameters.

all leather corals go through periods like your photo, give it time and it will be fine.

My leather has gone about 4 days closed up, then the next it opens fully and bigger then before! Just make sure you have enough flow, as the shed needs to be pulled off by the current. I'm sure yours will open in the next few days!

Okay thanks. I’ve seen it do this before but only for a few hours up to a day and not longer than that. Last night it did open up more but no swelling or PE.

Toadstools and leathers rip and split. I will take a scalpel to them occasionally. I started with one... Now my whole tank is filled. There is another post asking the same thing about the polyps not coming out. It is a normal thing and I suspect a molting type of behavior. They come back brighter and more lush than ever. Mone have gone dormant for a week or two at times.
