A good high quality piece of equipment, I still think they charge to much though.

OM is one of those companies that are just top shelf. Very well made, great performing reliable products.

Nicely built product, good customer service. The one thing I do not like it lack of control, and this is a big deal to me. I think they rotate too quickly. Ideally, the rotation speed is best customized for an individual tank.
Because of this short comming, i actually prefer my hayward industrial actuated three way ball valve. Does exactly the same thing, built like a tank, and I choose the frequency. Hopefully a future generation of OM's will have a little dial to increase or decrease rotation speed. Unitl then, actuated ball valve for me.

Most of the pictures of setups I've seen limit the discharge on each outlet of the four way to one outlet.
That's to say if you have a four way than you just run four runs of pvc to your tank. Has anyone added Tee's to an individual outlet and created the type of closed loop that Anthony Calfo suggest's? I'm thinking of going with a two way and adding tee's, with valves at the ends to meter the water, going around each side of the tank and to the front. I'm figuring three tee's on each side. Has anyone done this? Why could it not be done? Ordy |

Paul has been working on a controller for all his valves.
You would still have to plumb 4 lines to the top of the tank for a calfo manifiold. It couldnt be all one loop or the 4 way is moot. |
